The Celts (Originally released as Enya) is the first studio album reissue by Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya. It's the remastered and re-released version of her eponymous BBC documentary series The Celts soundtrack self-titled debut release, Enya (1987). Released on November 6, 1992 by WEA Records internationally in Europe and by Reprise Records in the United States. The title track "The Celts" was released as the lead single for the album on November 2, 1992. The album peaked at No. 8 on the UK Albums Chart. and the single "The Celts" went to No. 29 in the UK. In addition to having enhanced sound, The new release also contains a different version of the song, "Portrait"; extended from 1:23 to 3:11. This version of the song first appeared in 1988 under a different name of "Out Of The Blue" as the B-side to the lead single from her second studio album "Watermark" (1988), "Orinoco Flow"; on the album, the song is retitled as "Portrait (Out Of The Blue)". Remastered and reissued in 1992 as "The Celts" with a different version of "Portrait". In 2009, the album was reissued in Japan with a bonus track, "Eclipse".[1]
