Roma Ryan (Roma Shane Ryan) is an Irish music lyricist, writer, poet, and visual artist, born January 20, 1950 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is Enya’s lyricist. She is married to Nicky Ryan. Roma first met Enya in 1978 through her boyfriend Nicky who was managing Clannad at the time. When Enya left the family group, she moved to Dublin to live with Nicky and Roma.[1][2][3]
